I've done some searching on here, and I think I've got the right answer, but hopefully someone can verify I'm on the right track. Best I can tell from the info I've gathered, the 15 inch wheels used in 1958 were 5 1/2" wide with a 3 1/2" backspace. Is that correct? If the weather cooperates I'm going to the junk yard this weekend to see what I can come up with that will work. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | not sure on the back space, but the width was 6" by the TF years - any GM 15" 6 bolt wheels into the 70's will work and the 61 up with the hubcap 'lumps' will work best for moons rather than the earlier ones with the hubcap clips
