I want to replace my full size headers with Block
hugger headers. Has anyone used these on a simular set up. Some of the sites says they can not be used on angled spark plugs but not for sure how much angle they mean. My 350 sbc is from the 70's My plugs are angle a little but not much. The one worry i have is that i might need to re-route the steering

The plug tops just point past the header tubes, if you have angled plugs, some of them may point straight at the header tubes which are routed very close to the head/block. It'd probably work OK, but it might be very difficult to get a wrench in to change the plugs.

I am afraid if I go with the block huggers I will need to re-route my steering linkage. I don't want the full size that I have now because they hang to low with my drop spindles and mustang II front end
Need to do some homework on this one

I bought the S & S heat-coated block huggers. Mine are for straight plugs but they also sell headers for angle plugs. They are more expensive but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for", most of the time.
