Just a thanks to all who have helped me with my recent rocker arm assembly oiling issue, especially Pre '68 Dave who received a few phone calls from me. The motor has not sounded so quiet in such a long time. Now I'm starting to hear other noises which previously were drowned out by the noisy rockers.

This recent saga caused me to take on fixing a few oil leaks issues which got me to drop the tranny, replace the rear main seal, fix the U-joint bell housing seal leak, etc.

Buttoned everything up yesterday and will be taking Mr. Truck out for a nice cruise today. All this work actually has gotten me to consider taking on more little truck projects such as replacing the fuel hard lines, replace some bare wires, blah, blah, blah.

Thanks
Craig

You have some new-found confidence...you're screwed smile. Pretty soon you'll be yanking engines, swapping rear ends and trannys, rewiring the truck, rebuilding the front end, etc.

It's a great feeling when you can do everything yourself.

ALL old iron is cool...I think all of the big three came out with some cool stuff that I'd love to own.

I just finished wrenching my '64 Galaxie conv...390 4spd, so my garage is not "Chevy Parking ONLY" smile.

They're all cool...
