There is a Z bracket that attaches to the left splash pan that I believe is used to connect the break pedal return spring. Every way I can figure to attach it, the clutch linkage hits it. Can any one explain or provide a picture of how the break return spring is to be installed?
Also was there a spring between the floor board and the gas pedal. Mine came with one but I am not sure it should be there. If not with the new felt in the floor board the carb return spring does not fully pull back the carb linkage.
