I'm pretty sure that your system is similar to the one used on my '55 2nd-Series 6500. Some systems (like mine) consist of two levers, usually located in the vicinity of the transmission-cover plate. One lever controls the P.T.O. (abbreviation for power-take-off),and the other lever controls the pump (hoist,up and down.)If your dump-bed is an aftermarket add-on, your p.t.o. may be cable-actuated. These units are very easy to recognize, from the 2-3" diameter knob attached to the dash (usually),marked P.T.O.In some instances, I've seen cable-actuated pumps,as well. Some knobs are black,some are yellow,and some that I've seen are red,identical to the P.T.O. knob,but usually with nothing printed on them to state their intended purpose. As far as your system leaks are concerned, I would follow crenwelge's advice,and have it fixed professionally. I hope this helps. Sincerely: Bill Hickey
