I really think it is the 216, but i want to make sure. Is there a place on here that has the differences and sizes of the ports etc?

If the entire intake looks crooked, meaning the intake runner look sorta twisted it's 235. Hope this helps. It should noted that some of the blanket statements about differences between 216s and 235s are not correct for all 235s.
235s came out in 1941 and the intake manifolds were the same through 1949.
The 216 and 235 exhaust manifolds were the same from 41-48, And the same but different exhaust manifold in 1949.

Port size is smaller on those than the later 235s but I don't have the measurements in front of me.

There is also a difference in the flange that connects to the exhaust manifold. See group 3.272 in the link. This is more than just a 216 vs. 235 difference. The Chevs of the 40's catalogs show some of the differences.
