It's OK on high beam but on low beam it's barely at 30%. The right side light is normal. I haven't had the lights working but a couple months but this is the first time I've noticed a problem.

obvious reasons for it being dim have been discussed numerous times here. Changed the
bulb? Dirty contact, connector or switch? Broken wire causing high resistance and
voltage drop at break? Taint much else that could cause it.

I just noticed tonight my brake lights aren't working, I spent most of two weeks with it up on the lift dealing with underside issues. I may have knocked the wires loose on the pressure switch. I'll check it out tomorrow and see if I can't break the legs on that leprechaun.

One time, on my '50, my tail lights were stuck on sometimes, I couldn't find the reason they were always hot. I kept looking, and looking. Sometimes it would be days of normal operation, other times I'd come out in the morning and the lights would be on. The solution: The spare fuse would slip out of the holder, and lay across the contacts in the fuse block! | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 | This happened a few months back. It was the wire that returns to the circuit box that wasn't tight. I haven't had a chance to check it out as the truck is at the muffler shop having exhaust installed.
