There are three locks on the 46: Ignition, Door and Glove Box.
Were there three seperate keys are were some items keyed alike?
Thanks for your help.

I have 1 key that fits all 3 locks, the key is not the original key but the locks and ignition are original.

The Owner's Manual shows two key types. One with one flat edge at the top of the key and another with all curved edges. One is used for the door lock and ignition and the other for the glove box. There would have been two identicle keys for the door and ignition.
All these are missing for my '46, which is in the process of being restored. But, if the same as for the '37 the flat edge key is used for the ignition.

Thanks for your input.
It would make sense to have a separate key for the glove box so you could keep it locked when the door was not.
Thanks again.
None of my locks have keys so I will have to locate a lock smith. Any recommendations?

One's hex and one's round on the end. You need B10 & B11 blanks. If you can't find a locksmith with those blanks on hand there are sellers on ebay with them. You can still get blanks with the same grooved ends as the B10 & B11 any place that sells keys but they aren't marked Briggs & Stratton or GM. They are usually gas cap keys.

It seems like there was a lock for the spare tire that used the same key as the glove box. A lock that fit over the bolt that holds the spare tire was usually lost after the first use. It may be hard to find one now.
