Nice job on the truck also. Is there anyway you could send me a close up picture of the lower alternator bracket on your "Just Finished" C30? I can get a partial veiw of it from you pictures. My C10 with a 283 has a hand fabricated bracket and I am not sure what the orignal looks like or where I can find one. Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | Here's the only one I have without the alternator mounted. It's just a simple bracket/brace going from the water pump to the exhaust manifold, Scott | | | | | Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 52 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 52 | Thank you very much. You wouldn't happen to know of anyone who has one for sale like the one on the right in your picture would you? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | bargy1: The lower alternator bracket I sent you is the correct one. It was also found on the early 327 sbc engines, as well. Here is a link, showing many of them, along with the one Scott pictured: early sbc lower alternator brackets | | | | | Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 52 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 52 | Tony please check your email. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | Hey Dan.
