have to take all outside bolts out, including vent window. remove bolts from regulator travck at bottom of window and take door glass out. then take out regulator. there is a slightly wider area between the outside and inside of the door just behind the vent latch so vent window will have room to come out.

Thanks,I guess my problem was the window crank was stripped...used vise grips to crank...but still seemed jammed. After a little swearing, and patience...I got the job done. The second door was a bigger since the latch screws were welded to the door...more swearing.
Thanks for your help!
