I have the new direct replacement harness coming to me in the mail. The new harness kit did not come with a new Fuse Block, so I bought this one from Bob's Chevy Truck. It looks to have a lot more circuits on it for using radio, heater etc... unfortunately it did not come with instructions. I extensively looked online for the instructions and found none. I did however turn up pictures of this exact same fuse block with the instructions half covered up by the fuse block. So now I know that instructions ARE supposed to come with this fuse block, mine for some reason just didn't. I do have a color coded siring diagram that I bought online, and in using that I fitted the supplied wires to it. Is this right? Has anyone else used the fuse block and have the instructions? http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff441/AZ59apacheguy/beed7a2f.jpg | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | that's close to the original accessory TF fuse block, labels are all the instruction you should need with a factory harness and factory wiring diagram ... the fuse block was only originally installed if there were accessories installed like the labels call out, and the small wiring sections for each accessory were separate from the main harness, just the wires needed to reach each item from the clip on tab terminals .... the 3 wires you have on there are all to supply power to the block
the red wire should go to the light switch BATT terminal, that's for 'always on' power .... the gray wire goes to the PL terminal of the light sw to supply power when the dash [panel] lights are on for things like the glove box light .... the pink wire goes to the ACC terminal on the ignition sw, gets power only when the key is on
note that the ACC LP position [gray] doesn't involve a fuse, the panel lamp fuse is the small one on the light switch so that terminal just acts as a junction point some fuse values: backup - 9a heater - 9a fog - 14a park brake alarm - 9a radio - 7.5a spot lp - 9a under hood lp - 9a

Hook up the 3 wires (gray, red, pink) to the truck to bring power to the fuse panel, then wire up your accessories. i hooked up my electric wipers, radio, glovebox lamp, heater blower, and cigar lighter to it. acc fuse panel | | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 257 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 257 | Thanks for all the replies.
