Does anyone know what I will have to do as far as modifications to the 250 balancer? I understand others take the 250 and fit it onto the 235.

Aside from finding a rare stock 2 groove balancer from salvage, he pretty much has a corner on the market. He's really proud of his work and the purchaser is responsible for getting it rebalanced. He cuts 2-3/8" belt grooves.
All in all, it gives me the second groove for my accessories but it comes at a hefty price. You can find his phone number (no email) on the Inliners International site. He includes a FelPro quick sleeve to go on the seal surface and highly recommends loosening the timing cover to center the seal while wrenching it on with your drilled crank. This makes adding the 2 groove balancer a bit tricky even with the radiator removed. Hope this helps.
