Its not really a Delco Remy site. It is a Delco Remy Service Bulletin. Full of good information.

guess is they snitched it from Keith's site.
The only regulator the you will be able to get is going to be
the Standard Motor Products VR-1. Most autoparts and
reproduction vendors carry it and as Tim pointed out it will
control the 6 volt 35 amp generators which were the standard
back in the day.

It had no name on it and when I opened it up, there were no screws anywhere. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it it's easy. It's definitely necessary to have a good accurate ammeter to adjust a regulator.

From research on the internet this Generator was parried with a Delco Remy Regulator 1118201Following is his response: February 06, 2012 From my information 1118201 became obsolete in 1948 ( 6 volts N 34-36 amps). 1118201 was superseded by 1118301. I found a NOS Delco Remy 1118301 on EBay. Sometimes things work out! Thanks for all your help. Harold
