The radio i pulled wasnt stock because the lettering and numbers where up side down. Did the inside of the cab look like yours?
What is the name on the radio? There were Canadian radios called "GM Auto Radio" that were made for use in the truck and in some cars. The front controls were adjustable in the width of separation and also the front angle. The radios used a different dial glass in different applications as one was upside down from the other. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 926 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 926 | I think it's possible the radio is for a GMC,due partly to not fitting the radio hole and partly due to the lettering being upside down.Radio units like the one for my '54 GMC have the tuner on the left and the volume control on the right,backwards from what is typical. Thus,trying to install it with the volume control to the left would make it upside down,and it wouldn't fit the hole.
