I have the replacement, but would like to know the best way to remove the nut to get the switch out of the dash.
Thanks in advance for your help! MK

I couldnt locate a tool, but used a really thin piece of steel (left over from body work), I bent it to catch two of the 3 slots and the bezel came off real easy. The ignition switch will drop out through the back. Did the opposite to reinstall. | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,320 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,320 |

Sit the socket on top of the bezel nut, mark the locations of the slots on the bezel nut on the socket. With a cutting wheel, remove the material around the perimeter of the socket, leaving only the knubs at the locations of the slots in the bezel nut...viola, you have a ignition switch bezel nut removal tool. | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 10 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 10 | Everyone is assuming you have removed the tumbler from the switch already...... That takes a real expensive paper clip!! | | |
