are car and truck engine's the same,will a car 235 bolt in a truck,I know dumb question,but I need to know before buying Thanks.....

What year is your truck and what year is the 235?

I did it. '53 car 235 in a '46 truck. I removed the side mounts and had to drill 2 holes in the 'front plate' for a front mount. Other than that, no problem. Newer 235's have the water pump in a different location but it still can be done.
