well like the title says I have a 53 1/2 ton chevy and have a line on a 54 cab. I know the upper cowl vent is different but what I am concerned about is will the 54 cab match up to my 53 fenders and hood? or will i have to get all 54 supporting panels.

thanks!

The earlier sheet metal will work. Lots of people have used earlier sheet metal on '54 trucks. Sabrina's truck is one example.

I believe the 54-55 1st. series rear frame is different, which affects the fit of the bed. The front fenders, etc. should bolt onto the later cab without a problem, IMHO.
