so i started to install new bushings in the frame for the rear shackles. used a old pin to tap in with a hammer rather than tapping on the bushing. both rears went in about 95% of the way. So i was stumbled, heard try a vice, so i bought a vice, i think the darn vice would rather bend before those darn bushings with budge the 5% they need to go before i can install the new rear shackles....any ideas stovebolters??!

I had same issue when I replaced mine. Take 'em back out and clean the hole with scotch brite pad or similar stuff. Also clean new bushing. Apply thin film of anti-seize to hole and bushing. Mash 'em back in. Check out tech tips on this - good info. Good luck!
