After searching and searching my son i myself found the 54 we were searching for. We lucked out and found it right in nphx not far from our house. It was a one owner az truck. No rust, used as a truck to deliver 31 flavors ice cream in tucson. I bought it from the grand daughter of the gentleman that drove the wonderfull truck. Now its time to get her broken down and restored. Few questions if anyone can help. I cannot figure out the vin tag. Like i said i am new at this. Also i was told that the rear bumper was installed at the gm dealership after the fact along with another set of leafsprings. Should i leave this that way or take it to stock? Any information would be very helpfull. I have tons more questions if anyone is willing to listen. Here is a link check it out and let me know what you guys think.

Looks like you found a nice truck.
As far as your other questions--check around the other various forums here on the website, and ask your questions in the proper ones, and you'll get all the advice you can handle!!
Whether you make the truck completely stock, or leave it with the modifications it has on it, is entirely up to you. It just depends on the look you want. There are no wrong answers!
Merry Christmas!
