Not to hard but 4 hands were helpful. Now the window stays up. Time will tell about durability. I did save the old regulator to rebuild if I need to.
Mike | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | I bought some off ebay and the gears stripped out so I used the old gears. Maybe they were just plain cheap. The ones from the vendors may be better quality.
I also found the rollers that run in the track and along the bottom of the window to be very important. I recommend to replace them if your leather washers are gone.
