The Body is off and the drive train is out I will be replacing the 216 with a 54 235 the guy I bought it from had replaced the closed driveshaft with an open one. The truck is in pieces all in boxes but so you guys got any idea where to start. The frame,brakes,chrome,and,most of the body work is finished. I need to do do the engine or put the original back in and I have to patch 2 rear fenders which shouldn't be to hard I have 5 to practice on.I am going to use the 4 speed that I got with the truck. I want to put a 235 from a 54 with hydraulic lifters in as I have a new cam, lifters, valves, valve springs and cam for it. What manuals did you purchace that was most helpful. I may have to take someone up on checking out their truck because I am sure there are going to be 100's of items that I will have no idea where they go.
