For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 3 | I have a 1953 Chev 6100 in good shape, butno bench seat. Having a hard time finding one, and wondered if anyone has tried another solution? I measured a 1988 Dakota bench seat, and it looked like it might work, but it sure doesn't look original. Any suggestions? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 1 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 1 | Im putting a front seat from a 2001 Lincoln Town Car in my 54 P/U. Fits just right (you have to make a custom riser) and is very comfortable. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 | If you're looking to stay original, I have a seat from my 3600 you can have, no frame just the seat bottom and back.

It fits nice and is much more comfortable than the stock seat. The 1990ish seat riser needed some cross pieces to level it off, but otherwise went in easy. | | |
