I have obtained a front factory sway bar from a Suburban, and I'm trying to adapt it to my 1946 pickup. I have a few questions, such as how do the brackets supplied mount to the frame, and where can I purchase new rubber isolators?
Is there anyone out there that has a stock sway bar on there truck that could help me out?
Randy B. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 | You need to identify the trucks involved. Chevy and GMC used different brackets for their sway bars because of the different crossmembers. I have a sway bar on my '45 GMC.

Don't remember whom right now, check ALL the vendors, Chevs of 40s, Filling Station etc.
