Does anybody want to guess what the original colors for the truck were by looking at the pictures? I would really like to know, but I guess there is no way to really find out, excpet for to look at areas that hopefully did not get painted! How do folks figure out color combinations they are choosing for thier truck? Fendres vs body etc? I don't mean the correct year specifc or available combos, but the truck specific ones? Thanks, Andy

Do the fenders look black? That was a common (if not standard) combination. Someone recently posted a link to at least one very informative website with color information for 41-46 trucks. http://www.46chevytruck.com/ | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 196 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 196 | Thanks tom. Got plenty of info about the correct colors for the year etc, but just trying to establish what mine was originally. Lots of red on there too!??! | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 196 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 196 | Thanks tom. Cool! and thanks heaps for this site ! I think I might go with Victory red with black fenders when it goes together since its not a restoration.
In such a khonstant state of khaos I dont know what project to work on first.
