Hi all - installing 2 piece winshield and I wanted to make sure I am understanding instructions correctly. It says to apply 3m weatherstrip adhesive around pinchweld on windshield opening. It also mentions sealing glass to rubber seal. Does that mean to 3m weatherstrip the glass into the seal or is there some other kind of 'cement' to be used? Kind of vague on the instructions so I thought I would double check. Thanks!

On my buddy's 53, I used the 3M bedding & glazing compound, worked great. It simply wipes off, so don't be stingy. I used 3M clear window sealer between the glass & rubber after installation.

Thanks so much for the info. Was all ready to try that today but been fighting to just get the windshield in all afternoon and it never went in. Fought the rear window all afternoon the other day and never got that one in either. Beginning to think something is fishy. Window openings on cab? Glass pieces matched up... have tried the string method and the fid method. I think frustating is the word for today?
