Today I installed the passenger side door and then attached a new side mirror. I'm either doing something wrong, or else these mirrors are designed really poorly. When you open the door about 3/4 of the way, the mirror bangs into the door glass. Anyone else have this problem? What is the solution? Here are some pictures of my door/mirror. http://s950.photobucket.com/albums/ad342/summerfi/41%20chev/ | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | I see your problem, that tab with the small hole needs to be inside the door jam. Also there is a screw that goes through that hold to keep it in place. Take it apart and start over. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 | Ohhhh....that makes sense. Thanks much for the help. | | |
