Anyone got ideas on a radiator substitute for a 1937 chevy 1.5T. I pulled the radiator, the outlet and bracket are ate up. I am hoping to find something that doesn't cost $450 to get this thing rolling again. I have enough money going into everything else.

I have heard using more current radiators being used on their side can this be done?

By the time you mess with an old radiator of some kind or another and add up all the time and heartbreak in dealing with it You will come to the conclusion that the $450 made to fit radiator is a great deal. Go ahead, ask me how I know. My buddy had a radiator made for a 34 Pontiac but I can't remember the company name and he is in the desert so I can't ask him. Seems to me he got it for under $400 but again I am not sure.

they aren't cheap, mine is ok but nearly every where I have seen them for $350-$450 I would make sure your radiator is good. I just spent and unholy amount of money, on my engine, and I would consider $450 to keep from frying my engine a good deal. (I have $500 into the crankshaft alone)
