Nice looking burb! looks to be fairly rust free and has the "cool" Smash-hit" Grille guard too. It looks to have the original complete interior. Do you have other "close up shots" of the burb?

Thanks! Yea just a little rust on the floor on front of the drivers seat but still pretty solid. Yup it came with the smash hit,3 rows of seats and a spotlight on the roof. http://s660.photobucket.com/albums/...&current=2011-10-24_18-02-38_913.jpg

That's just terrible. Tell you what, why not drop it off here at my place?

It's beautiful. I love that front radiator guard, and the roof mount spot light, you just don't see those much anymore.

The body looks perfect, you are a lucky man.Was there much work to get it ready for the road? What's the history on this one.
Enjoy

Thanks guys didn't have to do much to get it on the road. Just the usual stuff. Changed spark plugs, oils, wires, radiator cap, hoses, heater hoses, brake hoses, rebuilt the master cylinder, and clean the gas tank. Still have to do the wheel cylinders cylinders and brake shoes. The guy I bought it from had bought it in 1963 from a town nearby and used it to take his kids hunting. It had been parked outside since 1992.

Yea its pretty rust free. Pretty dry out here in New Mexico.

Sheesh! Some guys have all the luck.....

I can't beleive how straight and rust free that 'burb is,if that had been here it would have dissolved into a pile of rust about thirty years ago!

You're right Chris, New Mexico's weather is really kind to old iron!
Great find.
