i can not belive it, the lil low psi 235 engine in my 48 loadmaster runs so good!!!.

just climb in turn the key to "on" tap the starter button nad within 3 turns it fires right up with about a 1/4 of choke.

the engine has 20,000 orig miles on it ( i spoke to the 90 year old orig owner) is pretty oiled caked but i can still read the loadmaster decal on the valve cover.

the engine idles like a sewing machine.... nice and quite, and smooth.... its unbeliveable.... plan on a good oil change remote oil filter change, new gaskets for the oil pan, valve cover, and oil pan to butto her up tight, after i gunk it down,

then repaint it grey and detail the engine up I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!!!

nothin like ol' Chevy iron..keep it goin
