Has anyone installed a dome light in their 46 ? If so where did you purchase and how did you install the doom light?

I installed one in my '40. ( Note my truck is not stock - is 12v with new wiring harness and light switches )Picked up a generic one at Auto Parts store. Also purchased ( 2 ) plunger type switches to install in door jambs. Remember with dome light, power is always on. When you open the door, plunger switch completes the ground to make light come on. Also connects to headlight switch for on/off & dimming.

I picked up several at Pull-A-Part from late model vans & P/U's. They're more like a dome/map light with separate switches for the map lights. I think I gave $3.50 each for them. Two were chrome and the rest were plastic. I haven't used them but thought I might.

Good looking work you've done Gman. The only thing I'd change is to get that UT helmet off the firewall. lol
