The inlet and outlet are 1/4 and 3/8 pipe thread. 1st question is which is which? Question #2 is if I want to use this with a stock exhaust, minus the heat riser, is there a plate I use between them to keep the water from running into the exhaust. Thanks | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,195 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,195 | The inlet and outlet doesn't matter which one you for what, the water goes in, then out, its which ever is easiest to hookup and plumb. If you use a stock exhaust manifold, you will not use the plate or water, the exhaust will heat it just like the stock manifold.
