I'd like to put an HB on my 56 235 that has 2 v belt grooves. One for Alt but Id like to run an ac in the future. Is there a certain year or is it up to the crank OD?
Thanks

Chevy made a two groove pulley for the 235 Powerglide engine in the cars with power steering. Probably hard to find. I lucked out as my engine came out of a '53 chevy car with power steering. This was the first year power steering was offered......

For megbucks, you can buy a chromed job from one of the hotrod suppliers. If I did that, I would have to paint it black!

there is several places that have new/rebuilt dampers. I'm pretty sure I saw several double pulleys when I was looking for my damper. Just google harmonic balancer, vibration damper something like that.
