It looks to be original, has a big GM logo stamped on the lens reflector. Problem is I can't get the darn thing out. Was able to get the handle and interior rotation mechanism off, but can't get the outer portion to come off. I pulled the 2 screws off of the mount plate, still won't budge. Anyone familiar with these and how to take them off? Any secrets? I'd love to keep it, it is pretty cool looking. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 305 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 305 | it should pull right out now

While I'm on the topic - anyone know where I can get repair parts for the light? The handle is missing, I'd like to replace it with one that appears original to the year. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | That looks like what came on them. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 143 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 143 | Please check with local law enforcement-- many states have banned spotlights but you may be OK if it isn't operational.Sorry but I don't know the situation in Minn. but it is worth checking. | | |
