The engine sounds a little louder too so I don't think it's the gauge. It happens at idle and while driving. Any ideas? It doesn't do it all the time, just once in awhile and then it's fine. It does have fresh oil in it. | | |

Once I pushed the distributor down the play disappeared. | | |

When you had the pan off??? Did you use silicone when you put it back on? you may have some hardened silicone floating around in your engine. I saw this happen in an 351 f%*d engine once. | | |
