Can anyone tell me where I can get the springs that go on the door brace where the interior handles attach.

Maybe try Jim Carter Truck Parts or Chev's of the '40's ?

I didn't think there were springs at the interior handle? The latch itself has a spring which returns the handle though the flat linkage.

If you're talking about the springs that keep the EXterior handles from drooping, Jim Carter was where I found mine. Maybe they have the ones you're looking for as well?

If you look at the door braces where the interior handle attaches there is a spring on that lever

Huh, mine are gone but I think I see the mounting points on the brace and the lever backing plate/disc. Mine are working well enough without them relying on the spring internal to the latch.
