My original has the clutch spines the whole length of the shaft , however my rebuilt unit has a shorter length of splines , Other than that is looks exactly tyhe same any ideas ?? will it cause me any issues if i fit it ?? any sugestions appreciated Thanks .

In which case the aftermarket parts would be presumably stronger. I don't have any evidence to support this claim however. Fred
