I have a 66 and the guy i bought the truck off of had a welding rod stuck in there and i can't even get full throttle. I have check lmc , brothers to no avail. I guess i will have to build one, any other ideas? | | |

Not a welding rod, but I have a carb spring that is rubbing on the intake manifold. I recently changed from a 250 to a 292, and it seems the extra height of the 292 has thrown the throttle linkage off. Photos of a correct 292 throttle linkage would be very helpful. | | |
