KURT51CARRYALL has a gasket project in the works. He may have what you seek.

If you pick up a set of hole punches and a couple rolls of gasket material you can fabricate any gasket you need and have spares to boot. just a thought.

As FriedGreenTmater mentioned, I am in the process of setting up a website with gasket templates/patterns. I have some tranny gasket patterns from an old universal set of Chevrolet transmission/universal joint gaskets that is supposed to be in the range of 1937-1954. Some of these may work for you.

I have not yet confirmed the part numbers of these individual gaskets, and don't have them on the site.

If you want to try them out, I will confirm the scale and send you a link to the files.

Here is a link to the gasket exchange website: There is a section on how to cut gaskets and how to make patterns.

The gasket Exchange

If you make the gaskets you need, or find a set, please consider sending me tracings or scans, and I will add them to the site.

It is not simply a gasket. It is a shim, and it must be properly shimmed to mesh correctly.

So for future reference what is the proper shim thickness for his application?

There is no proper shim thickness. You have to use different thickness shims to get the proper mesh. Its not too terribly critical, but too thin a shim will cause the gears to bind and too thick will cause the gears to mesh too close to the tip of the gears. Its a trial and error thing.
