I think ok know the answer to this but....

The cabs from 47-51 are not interchangeable with 52. The cabs will fit on the frames but if I wanted to use the 52 doors they won't work due to door stricker differences. Correct?

Wait to hear from someone else, but I think if you used the door catch that matches the year of the door latch, you could use any 47-55 A-D/ND (Chevy/GMC) pickup cab with any 47-55 pickup/panel-body door.

Yeah i want to confirm that cause that will make me REALLY excited as it opens up the possibilities of replacing my cab. Sucks being limited to 52-55 cabs as they don't seem to be that prevelant(in my surrounding area.) LOL

I am a moron. I went and looked up the patch panels for the cab and it looks like the same patch panel works for all the trucks and only the strikers are different.
