Right now both sides are haning just in front of the rear mount. Does the spring just sit on the pin? Classic Parts sells a complete set for a good price. I corrected it. The 1949 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton front springs are not exactly the same, but they can be physically interchanged (same mounting dimensions). Rear springs are different. Maybe someone (like Denny) will comment on the danger, if any, of using a 1/2 ton front spring on a 3/4 ton truck?
