I have had the bolts lose, and closed the hood, then tightned it. Still every now and then it bounces up.
Anyone with a good suggestion?
Get a new hood latch? Or is it the plate in the hood where the latch are supposed to grip I need to fix?
And yes the springs are in place and the latch seems to work fine and strong.
And the hood is aligned in all directions.

| | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,733 | I had to massage the front of my hood to get it to latch properly by pulling on it by hand but it stays latched even though the front alignment may not be the very best.
