had to get out and move the 2/3 gear lever to neutral position
of course had to turn off engine as it was stuck running in third- any ideas?

#77446 05/11/2007 6:20 AM | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | things are worn and/or gummy in the shift box on the lower column, a very common problem with these ol trucks - open it up, clean it out, check the notched arms are crisp, have good corners, and line up right, and the pawl is a good snug fit between them - regrease it well
