Hey All-

Well school starts in little more than a week and I'm overwhelmed with the amount of work yet to do. So, what am I doing? Dinkin' with the 47 and playing mandolin. Like THAT'S going to help. Maybe with some Guinness, you know, for STRENGTH!

Okay - question - how hard is it/what devils will I meet in replacing PS window glass? The old window is intact, but pretty well cracked up, much as myself.... I bought replacement glass only - how hard is it to R&R the surround frame to new glass? While I am at it, can anyone tell me if the black paint (I presume) on the window frame is gloss, semigloss or flat. I'm assuming it's semi or gloss.

I'd appreciate any "heads up" all y'all can provide. I'll see if I can muster up "House of the Rising Sun" on the mando, along with some Macanudos for good luck.

TIA

John

John, its been a long time since I did one on my 50 but it is not that hard. Without going into detail and leading you astray I think the manual will cover it pretty good if you read that section....if you don't have the manual on that one then try the ones on line.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
