the 54 3100 I just aquired has had the front axle converted to disc brakes; with drums on the rear axle (68 camaro). There is no master cyl on the truck or in the parts that came with it. What is the easiest and hopefully least expensive solution for a M/cyl? Want to stay with the stock pedals. Also with the 3sp (64 vintage) what will be needed for the clutch?
thanks

Easiest is a kit from one of the vendors. Might be cheaper to buy separate pieces. You will need an adapter bracket, a dual master cylinder and a proportioning valve block. I'd buy the kit with power booster. You'll need to custom build brake lines.

Ask your clutch question in the Crashbox Shop.

I used the brake booster and bracket setup from CPP. Easy install and I'm very happy with it. You can usually get a discount if you are at a swap meet they are attending.

On my '53 I moved the m/c up onto the firewall. I purchased the brake pedal assembly from Classic and the booster m/c and portoining valve from CPP.
