I found a 4.10 from a 67to72 chevy 3/4 ton truck. I pulled the universal yoke and the housing holding the pinion seal, And found that this third member has ball bearings. This seems like an outdated design for a 70s truck. Is this the way they were? Terry

They came with a big double row ball bearing. The replace mwnt is a double roller brg. That ball brg. was expensive even years ago. You are lucky to find that 4.11. We looked hard for one a couple of years ago.
