Almost finished installing the bed on my '55 1st series truck. Applied 8 coats Minwax polyurethane to all 6 sides of the boards. Really happy with the installation. Mar K has a great product. There are a couple bolts left to install. The two bolts in the support channel next to the shock attachment. May have to make a special tool to get the nuts and lock washers on the bolts and tighten them. Any ideas. Pictures to follow.

Nice! Another example why Mar-K is popular on this site.

Also finished rebuilding a 261 for the truck. Lots of good stuff. Paint next year. I plan to remove the bed for painting. Hope it all goes back together. Thanks for the response.

Great pics and thanks for the kind words. Be sure to send pictures in for the MAR-K ad promotion! Also, we would love to post those pictures on our website and facebook page. Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you a permission slip if you are interested!
