I got so frustrated with it yesterday that I took a sawzall to one of the bolts and scratched up the dash - one more thing for me to fix! That's my own fault. They're so rusted on in the back and such tiny nuts - seems to fit a 10 mm socket without having a clear visual from the back. Can't get the darn things off! Anyone else have this problem and how did you get it off?? I'm going to just end up cutting the whole thing and then I'll to replace it. I shot most of my bolts with PB Blaster before removing, came off w/o a hitch.
Of course I was on my back with my head squeezed up the firewall.
Remove the glove box to give you some leverage if you haven't.

maybe a 1/4 or there about, just get you a hand full of the smaller ones and go... sort of a pain in the butt, but if a 60 plus yr old man at the time I removed mine I am sure you will get er done

If you don't soak them and you cut them or they come loosed of the spot weld the grill trim pieces will be junk they cannot be repaired as far as I can see. | | |
