| | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 43 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 43 | The 62 gmc i had the luck of finding up in the mountains is equipped with a small box for the master cylinder, which also happens to be what i believe is the feed for the hydrualic clutch. I'm in essence doing a restore/mod deal here, anyone know options for a different cylinder or a hydroboost setup? Seems brakes are one of my weaknesses so any input is appreciated.

Why can't we just go back to the designs from when cars were unique and didn't all look the same?

The clutch uses a separate rod than the brakes. Are you wanting to keep the brakes stock or up grade to power disc?

From what I've seen the drums will work just fine, was curious about brake boosters since I have heard they make a noticable difference. As i plan to make the truck my D.D and pull the occasional boat/trailer etc.
