Finally got a chance to post some pictures from a few weeks ago when we used the fire truck to water 60 cherry trees which had been planted as part of our local community project:

Very nice. I bet that made some kids day (you) having an old firetruck around to play with.

My wife had the best line of the day. One of the large corporate business sponsors had walked over to talk to us about the truck. As he was asking questions about the truck my wife chimed in "some women are so lucky they have their own Corvette, but me I have my own fire truck" (which she has grown to really like after having it for a while).

Which pump did you use? Are they plumbed where you can use the booster lines off of either pump?

While the booster pump can be fed from both the front and mid mount pumps I used the mid mount rotary pump as it was much easier to dial back the pressure for the small kids by adjusting the amount of recirculation water flow back to the tank. I bought a 2 1/2 to 3/4 GH adapter for the next tree watering as the kids had a hard time dragging the booster line around. -
