Back when I took shop in Jr.Hi. the teacher had us use a timing light one day. As I recall the flashes of light should be at regular intervals.
This light is extremely sporadic with big delays in between flashes. It is impossible to see what you're doing. That's not how it should be is it??
I'm going back to that side of the hill thurs and can return it.
Oh, yes, we tried it on three different vehicles, same thing. The only time when it kind of flashed steadily is when you pointed it straight up. It should light every time #1 cylinder fires.
